  • Precision Oil Flow Control: Prevents compressed air and synthetic oil from backflowing into the separator element during shutdown or unload cycles.

  • Integrated Restrictor Orifice: Ensures consistent pressure differential and optimal scavenge oil flow rate back to the airend.

  • High Chemical & Temp Resistance: Heavy-duty brass construction withstands hot synthetic compressor coolants (Ultra Coolant) and high operating temperatures up to 120°C.

  • Solves Excessive Oil Consumption: Directly addresses downstream oil carryover caused by faulty or clogged return check valves.

  • Direct Drop-In Replacement: Exact threading and tubing connection for fast, hassle-free maintenance.

Overview

The Scavenge Line Check Valve (Part Numbers 99331803 and 22380216) is a critical protection component in Ingersoll Rand rotary screw air compressors. Located along the oil return line, this valve allows lubricant collected at the bottom of the oil separator element to be sucked back into the compressor airend while preventing oil from migrating backward when the unit unloads or stops.

If your compressor is suffering from high oil consumption or oil in the discharge air lines, a stuck or failing scavenge check valve is often the primary root cause.
